Join us for the young artists competition featuring some of the best up and coming artists from the New York Lyric Opera Theatre.
15 contestants will sing 2 arias from various operas. The judges and you, the audience, will then help select the winners. Each audience member will receive a ballot which will be turned in prior to a brief intermission during the show.
Prizes for the artist's include:
- 1st Prize: $1,000
- 2nd Prize: $500
- 3rd Prize: $250
- Audience Choice
(1st, 2nd, & 3rd Prizes: 75% of vote = Judges; 25% of vote = Audience)
Meet-n-Greet with today's performers and other Professional in the City members after the show. Exclusive for Professional in the City members (Free with your paid ticket):
There will be a meet and greet with the artists after the show. Meet other members of Professionals in the City as well some of today's singers. Location will be announced on stage at the end of the show. Venue will be within walking distance of the theatre.
This is your chance to mingle with today's performers and other Professional in the City members. Take pictures, have cocktails and more. Join us for a fun filled day with today's newest and talented artists.
