Did you know that you could sit silently in a room full of people, never speak a word, and still convey a great many of your personal characteristics? When we refer to talking, we tend to think that we use only our mouths and vocal cords to speak. Not so! Your body language speaks very loudly about who you are, what you like and dislike, what you want, and where you're going in life!
Professionals in the City invites you to a unique seminar that will provide you with information about "body talk" and how it pervades everything you do in your work and personal life. Your body is already talking for you; come and learn how to teach your body to speak positively about you regardless of what type of situation you're involved with; a job interview, a presentation, a personal relationship, even as a parent! Today you will learn:
* How to develop effective body language that presents you favorably, no matter who you are talking with. No longer will there be a "disconnect" between what you're speaking and what your body is saying.
* Techniques that use your body language to convey knowledge, confidence and self-esteem.
* How to use your body talk to call attention to your personal grace and charisma. This is a learned behavior, not instinctual. Learn to let your body language make you captivating and sought-after in business and personal relationships.
* Ways to touch others without making them feel uncomfortable. Touch is essential in any relationship; learn to casually touch others in exactly the right way, at exactly the right time! You'll also learn about how body language conveys a person's "personal space" needs. You will be able to "read" another person's body language to discover their personal space needs, and that being touched would offend them.
* How to use your body to control your own emotional state. All of our emotions affect our bodies. If your body, for example, is tense, fatigued, and wary, it may be telling you that you're feeling fearful about something. Relaxing your body is the first task in relaxing your mind!
* How you can successfully "read" the body language of others and no matter what they are saying, you'll assess their sincerity, any degree of deception or superficiality, their emotional state, and their self-confidence.
This informative seminar will change the way your body "speaks" to others, and how to "read" others - all without saying a word! This is a technique used constantly by law enforcement personnel and mental health professionals. We are not only defined by what we say, but also by what we do.
